Are these new or old images? They look like some kind of messed up version of the artwork from my childhood. I thought Ah-ha! here's an area that has gone untouched by the hands of artists and writers, until now. Is it a picture book?? Interesting stuff.
The book is a combination of images, like these - yes they are old, dug up - and text cut-up from similar sources. The book struggles against the idea of Intelligence tested according to one's ability to conform - the world as children we are squeezed into - and it presents many instances of the downfalls of this sort of thing in language, as well as offering a playful unintelligence which renders many commonly held worlds/systems of language absurd, hilarious, horrifying. Check back in for more conversations we will be bringing up around this book. It should be out this winter.
it has been done...oh, and while i am fans of both seahawks and chicago, jesus what a defense...i can only hope they both meet again in the nfc championship!...hope to be in more contact soon.
